Transplumb Events is excited to highlight our recent accomplishments at the 2025 Australian Open, marking the first year we completed the full scope of work at this prestigious event. Having secured a multi-year contract with Tennis Australia, we are eager to collaborate closely to enhance and grow this iconic event in the coming years. Our comprehensive services encompassed all site amenities, ensuring efficient water and waste management, as well as overseeing the water, waste, and gas systems for all corporate kitchens.
A key highlight of this year’s event was the opportunity to expand our fleet of public water stations in collaboration with our partners at meetpat. Together, we designed and installed custom-made water bottle filling stations and chiller units exclusively for player use, which were strategically placed on all playing courts and in player gyms. These stations provided easy access to refreshing water that helped ensure optimal hydration for the athletes during the tournament. The addition of these refill units achieved significant sustainability goals, resulting in the saving of 21,685 600ml water bottles and an estimated 2,070 kg of CO2 emissions. Feedback from players indicated that these units worked wonderfully, effectively contributing to their performance and comfort on the court while promoting eco-friendly practices.
From the initial site setup through to achieving authority sign-off before the event, our team meticulously managed every aspect of the plumbing requirements. During the tournament, we provided seamless site and system management to ensure everything ran smoothly, allowing participants to focus on enjoying their matches. Once the event concluded, our team efficiently handled the pack-up process, ensuring that all infrastructure was dismantled and that the site was left in excellent condition.
Our commitment to excellence and attention to detail played a significant role in the successful execution of the Australian Open. We are proud to have contributed to such a significant event in Australia’s sporting calendar and are excited about the opportunity to continue this partnership with Tennis Australia, enhancing the experience for athletes in the years to come.
