Transplumb Events is pleased to highlight our recent civil project at Lorimer Street in Port Melbourne, strategically located right on the wharf. This project involved the installation of approximately 400 linear meters of new inground stormwater drainage, critical for managing water runoff in this key area. Our team also installed multiple junction pits and a large gross pollutant trap designed to filter the site’s runoff water effectively before it enters Melbourne’s Yarra River. This environmentally conscious approach is essential for protecting the local ecosystem and ensuring compliance with city regulations regarding stormwater management.

In addition to the drainage improvements, we completed a new 150mm mains water tapping and meter assembly. This installation was designed to provide fire and domestic water for the site, ensuring that the infrastructure is prepared for future use. Our careful planning and execution ensured that these features were integrated seamlessly into the existing systems while maintaining optimal functionality.

The Lorimer Street project exemplifies Transplumb Events’ commitment to delivering high-quality civil works that not only meet operational needs but also serve to safeguard the surrounding environment. Working in such a picturesque location along the wharf provided our team with the added benefit of enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Port Melbourne, further inspiring us to deliver a project that contributes positively to the community.
